Nostalgia Ale House and Wine Bar at the south end of Saratoga Lake is no cookie cutter restaurant. Vintage decor gives the 1930s building a funky, relaxed feel making it one of our favorite spots for a casual dinner for the two of us, our family of six, or, like tonight, our neighborhood party of 20. Owner/manager Kirsten made sure all of our needs were discussed well before the event,ensuring the evening was a huge success!
Our neighborhood group tonight enjoyed reduced price drinks during the 5-6pm Happy Hour served by the ever-friendly and efficient Wendy. A game of darts got everyone involved in cordial conversation. Chefs Anthony Conte and Nancy Stewart then prepared our meals promptly and from the comments I heard at my table, everyone was impressed by the quality of their meals. The portions are generous, too, so no one left hungry!
What really brings us back to Nostalgia is the FOOD!!!! Nightly specials of made-to-order entrees like chicken or eggplant parm, Philly cheese prime rib sandwich, fried or baked haddock, handmade burgers...are just a few of our favorites . Their generous house salad is a bed of Spring mix topped with ripe tomatoes, peppers, croutons and grated cheese.

Nostalgia is a great addition to the dining options on Saratoga Lake. There is plenty of parking and a lake view outdoor patio with firepit. If it's good, home-cooked food you want--for 2 or 20--you won't be disappointed at Nostalgia! We'll be going back soon for their Sunday turkey dinner we've heard so much about.
First time coming here. My husband and I are impressed. We love history so the atmosphere was interesting to us. The service was great, our waitress was friendly and quick. Also if your wanting a prime rib but don't want to spend 30 a dish come here and order the prime rib melt, so good. I ordered the coconut shrimp and was pleasantly surprised by the amount. Very happy with this place and I feel like I could definitely become a regular.

Invited to visit by friends! Good service, friendly staff and helpful. Food was delicious and portions spot on! Enjoyed the view of the lake and the laid back atmosphere. Definitely will come again.
